UXHaven gives professional design advice about game interfaces. This page is a plain note on what that advice is, what it can and can't promise, and what our work is not — so expectations are set before we start.
Advice, not a guarantee of results
An audit is expert judgement grounded in usability research and a lot of interfaces seen up close. It reliably surfaces where players get confused and gives you a clear plan to fix it. What it can't do is guarantee a specific business outcome — more sales, better reviews, higher retention — because those depend on the whole game: its design, its market, its timing. We'll always be honest about what a change is likely to do and where the evidence is thinner.
Our recommendations are yours to weigh
We prioritize and explain, but you know your game, your team and your constraints. Treat our report as a strong, informed starting point for your own decisions, not an instruction you must follow to the letter. Implementing changes in your engine is your team's call and your team's work, unless we've agreed otherwise in a redesign sprint.
Accuracy and examples
We keep the site current, but details like prices and timelines can change; the figures that bind an engagement are the ones we confirm to you in writing. The case studies here are anonymised and simplified to protect our clients, so they illustrate the kind of work we do rather than serving as an exact record of any one project.
What this is not
UXHaven works on video-game interfaces. Nothing on this site or in our services involves wagering, staking money, prizes of cash, or games of chance — the word "game" here means interactive software. Our work is a design service, and we don't offer legal, financial or investment advice of any kind.
